Pictured above is Dena Plendl, S&D Stables, LeMars, Iowa with NFF Wilson's Society King, in the 2006 Southern Minnesota Classic show
I have a number of videos on www.youtube.com under the user name tncwalkerlover. Go watch this gorgeous boy strut his stuff.
We were thrilled to have King in training with Dena at S&D Stables, LeMars, Iowa for the 2006 year. King was shown at the
Southern Minnesota Classic in Albert Lea, MN June 22-24 and several other NWHA shows throughout the Midwest.
See photos below for the Southern Minnesota Classic! King did real well at that show. He got 2nd place in the Open All
Breed Trail Obstacle in hand class with Ashley Fronnes showing him. Thank you, Ashley!
Check out our Show Results page for the show placings and some short video clips of our horses in action.
In 2007, we began offering King at public stud to approved mares. Contact me for breeding contract. We have frozen semen a
vailable for shipping starting in 2007. King has been collected at Hoffmann Stables, Preston, Minnesota and his sperm count i
s very good, motility rate after thawing is 50%. We are excited about branching out with artificial insemination.
I can get fresh semen if you wish but it will take some coordination as I live two hours from where King needs
to be hauled to be collected and I will have to take time off work to do this. It's not a problem with a couple
days of advanced notice.
King did well showing in 2007 and is the MWHA Association Three Year Old Futurity Champion!!!
King is a dream horse! He has good looks, correct gait and a wonderful disposition that he has passed on to his 2007 foals.
King has no recent WGC's in his pedigree and no Pride of Midnight. Stud fee will be $450 for 2008 to approved mares.
He has been tested and is EVA negative.
Here is a video of King and Dena at the 2007 Minnesota Walking Horse Association Celebration
King is very loose moving and long strided and passes this on to his foals

This is King pictured with his constant companion, Cecil when they were both yearlings.
They are about the most unlikely pair of friends I've seen in a long time. King is now
tall enough that Cecil can walk under his belly but they still stick together like glue. They are both
four years old now and still the best of friends.

Williams King, my King's maternal grandsire. I saw this horse in person before he died and he was awesome.
He was a big horse with a long strided, head shaking walk. He was as gentle as he was big.

My son, David, took this photo of King when he and his wife Kate were visiting in July 2008. I like this picture, it shows King's handsome face and kind eye and very dirty nose!
