This handsome young colt joined the herd late summer 2018. Above photo was taken in Texas before he came here. I had admired him ever since he was born in Texas and finally was able to have him at the farm!! Kimberly Masson and Nicholas Rico bred this colt. He was sired by NFF Society's Moonstone and out of Hanna Ryder Delight.
I had heard a lot about the Ryder line from Kim and was intrigued by them. They appear to have much the same disposition as the Echo bred horses I've had. Hanna Ryder Delight is Kim's sister's personal riding horse and is an excellent horse on the trails. The Ryder horses come through Bay Ryder Delight and go back to Sun's Delight D. and Midnight Sun. Hanna's dam goes back to Ebonys Baby Boy.
Jericho is very laid back in disposition, very mellow tempered, and absolutely loves people. He loves attention! I love to watch him go in the pasture. He moves very well. Jericho is only a yearling so it will be a while before his first foals hit the ground but I'm looking forward to it!!
Thank you, David Graf, for the photo on the left, taken summer 2020. Thank you, Julie Scott, for the photo on the right taken in 2019.
